All rooms will be serviced by a housekeeper (or ‘scout’) during your stay. The scout will empty your bin daily from Monday to Friday. In the event of any incident, please inform the porters’ lodge immediately (01865 278300). Our porters are there to respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary. In the event of the fire alarm sounding, everyone must vacate the building and ‘muster’ in the Orchard or on the Nuffield Lawn. Do not return inside until instructed to do so by a member of staff. N.B: There are fire alarm tests held on Tuesday mornings between 9.00–9.45am, the alarm may sound for  5–10 seconds. If it is sounds for longer please evacuate the building.
